A disposable liner (used with each application) makes cleanup a snap! After
coloring your hair, just remove the disposable liner, rinse all brush parts with
cool water and you're done. No stained clothes, no plastic gloves, no drips! Directions: It is as easy as 1-2-3:
- Prepare your favorite hair color as usual
- Fill the Coloring Brush, and simply brush it through your hair
- Rinse hair and brush, style and go!
Prepare: - Remove the twist-off brush head and insert a New Basics disposable liner
into the brush handle. Note: Your new brush will come with a liner already
inserted.
- Prepare your favorite hair color according to the manufacturer's
instructions, mixing color in the application bottle provided with your
color.
- Pour up to 4 ounces of coloring mixture, (the amount supplied by most hair
color manufacturers) into the liner.
- Twist on brush head tightly, and PRIME the pump.
To do this, angle the brush downward in the sink and sharply thrust the
brush in the direction of the head. This releases excess air to speed and
smooth the flow of color. When the liner is about half empty, you may need
to prime the pump again. Also, when depressing the button, press slowly and
firmly. Color will flow to the brush head when you release the button. There
should be ample liquid in the brush head before 5 pumps depending on the
thickness of the hair color. Be sure to release the button after each pump.
You don't need to keep the button depressed while coloring. Apply:
- When covering gray, start where you have the most gray. When lightening
hair, start where hair is darkest. Pump when you need more color. It's okay
to remove your thumb if you need to stop coloring at any point; additional
color will flow when you depress and release the button again. Let color
solution set according to the hair color manufacturer's instructions.
- While your hair color is setting, begin the clean up process by carefully
sliding off the brush head keeping the brush slanted down into your sink -
to expose the manifold.
- Unscrew the manifold from the brush handle.
- Carefully pull out the disposable liner from the handle and place in the
trash.
- Rinse all parts under cool running water. Make sure to wash the inside of
the brush head thoroughly to prevent clogging.
- Allow parts to dry fully, and store unassembled for the next time you want
to color.
Rinse, style, go: Follow the hair color manufacturer's instructions for rinsing, conditioning
and styling your hair. Warnings & Precautions: New Basics Coloring Brush works with most temporary, semi-permanent and
permanent hair color. The brush should always be used with a liquid product;
never use dry.
