Hennalucent is a unique formulation of micro-refined henna, hydrolyzed protein, pH neutralizers and rich, organic conditioners that revitalizes all types of hair. It repairs split ends, adds new strength and vitality. Even dry, damaged, chemically treated hair becomes healthier and more vibrant.
Hennalucent's sensational luster and natural, believable tones add a new dimension to your color services. As a conditioner, it is unsurpassed.
Hennalucent is a 100% organic translucent toner and conditioner. It will give you a shimmering graduation of tone within the existing color level of the hair. It is not meant to change to the extreme color level of the hair. Nor will it cover gray or lighten hair. Hennelucent is not a tint, dye or shade lifter and does not contain metallic salts, peroxides or harsh chemicals.
Gleaming Ebony. Recommended for medium brown to black hair. It gives deeper brown tones to brown hair and shiny black tones to black hair.
Bark Brown. Recommended for medium to black hair. Adds warm highlights to brown hair and slight warm tones to black hair.
Sparkling Burgundy. Recommended only for medium brown to black hair. It gives a rich burgundy glow to brown hair and subtle burgundy to black hair.
Sunset Glo. Recommended for light brown to black hair. It adds stunning auburn highlights to medium brown hair and dark auburn to dark brown and black hair. Blend Neutral with Sunset Glo when using on lighter shades.
Earth Brown. Recommended for light brown to dark brown hair. It adds golden brown tones to light brown hair, slight red tones to medium brown and a warm glow to dark brown hair.
Blush Blonde. Recommended for natural blonde to light brown hair. It adds soft strawberry highlights to light blonde hair and soft gold highlights to light brown hair.
Neutral. Adds shimmering highlights with no color change to all shades of hair. Conditions to revive the natural sheen, body and manageability.
Directions:
How to mix Hennalucent:
- Pour Hennalucent into a plastic or glass bowl. Add very hot water, stirring constantly until blended to a smooth, honey-like consistency.
- Let mixture sit a minute to stabilize. If it thickens, add more hot water. Mixture should remain creamy and moist during processing.

A daughter intro'd me to your products - I mus the neutral and the blonde blush for color closest to mine.
A question: does the henna product have a deleterious effect when a perm is applied?
Thanks

Having been a fan of the Shielo brand for years, I decided to splurge and try their Color Protect Conditioner (what's a few more dollars when you've spent hundreds on your haircolor itself!).
In short, it's the best of the 5 or 6 other conditioning products that I've tried to no avail. In the wintery months, it makes my hair glossy and heavy enough not to be statically-charged and flying around my face. Many conditioners can't seem to accomplish this! I can usually wait to wash my hair every other day (rather than every) in the winter, although when I use this conditioner I've found that I can't skip a day (it gets greasy more quickly). I've been using it for about 4 weeks and I haven't noticed any deterioration in my highlighted color, so that's wonderful too.
And the smell! I love the smell. It's light and soothing and makes me feel immediately like I'm in a spa. It's well worth the money, and a little goes a long way (I use less than a dime-sized amount).

I have very long, thick hair and finding a conditioner that works for my hair and doesn’t have any ingredients that worry me can be a trick. I think I may have found my solution in Made from Earth’s Peppermint Conditioner. It leaves my hair soft and easily combable without a greasy coating. It has a pleasant scent that is only barely noticeable once my hair has dried. Made from Earth’s Conditioner has a very smooth feel to it and is easy to apply. I like to get it on my hair (heavy on the ends, light at the roots) then put my hair up in a bun and keep the conditioner in for ten to fifteen minutes and then rinse it out with the coldest water I can stand. Doing that leaves my hair incredibly silky, smooth and shiny. I appreciate that Made from Earth’s is a company dedicated to helping preserve the environment and not exposing their customers to potentially harmful ingredients.

Like many other women whose comments I have just read, i am boycotting Sally's B.S....and I don't use that abbreviation lightly! I had been using Sunset Glo faithfully for many years, could only find it at her BS store, so she always had a guaranteed sale, but apparently, my business or the others who i will tell about her refusal to even tell me hwy they stopped carrying the whole line or where I can get it. Her staff were like trained poodles, who didn't even know the word Henna, trying to get me to use their other S***.
Their attitude has changed for the worse. They used to want to accomodate the customer, now, they could care less...Well, I will tell everyone I know to stay far away from them. In the meantime, does anyone know where i can get it. i havescoured the internet, but every site that says they have it, do not, or they only have one box of a deeper color than Sunset GLo. I am lost. Help, please!

I have also been using Sunset Glo for 15 years. I can't find it anywhere and can not figure out who to talk to in order to find it. I can not find anything even remotely compatible . I've tried real BAQ henna, and it's just not the same. Not only does it take way long to develop, but it's a hassle and is making my hair darker and darker each time I do my roots. PLEASE START DISTRIBUTING SUNSET GLO AGAIN. Thank you.

I simply can't believe that after over 35 yrs. of being a faithful, singularly dedicated consumer of Hennaluscent Sunset Glo from Sally's Beauty Supply, that they suddenly & without any prior warning just discontinue carrying such a wonderful NATURAL hair color product!! I absolutely refuse to put any type of carcinogenic, chemical-based hair color on my hair...never have & never will! And yet that's exactly what it feels like Sally's BS is trying to force all of us "natural" girls into doing. If they won't bring back Sunset Glo (& all the other Hennaluscent products) then I for one will be cutting up my Sally's card & will NEVER shop there for any of my hair care products EVER again! I would strongly urge all the rest of you to do the same...boycott Sally's BS nationwide...it actually worked to boycott Coca Cola & forced the return of Classic Coke! IF &/or WHEN I do find a suitable substitute for Sunset Glo, I am definitely DONE with Sally's BS (& I DON'T mean Beauty Supply)!

I,like all the others, have been using Sunset Glo Hennalucent for 18 years, and am lost without it. I too would pay extra just to be able to put it back on my hair. What a beautiful color it is and so natural. Sally's made a big mistake to their customers. Please HELP US get Hennalucent back in all colors.

I heard that Sally's Beauty is the reason why they don't carry it anymore. Sally's decided to stop carrying the product.
Please write a letter to Sally Beauty, 3001 Colorado Blvd, Denton, TX 76210 Attn: Merchandising to see if they would reconsider carrying the product again. Ardell is the manufacturer and Sally's was the only supplier of this product so when Sally's stopped carrying it, it's no longer available anywhere. Thank you, Lynn

I've searched everywhere for your Sunset Glo Hennalucent. My sister and I both have used it for years. When she was in the Peace Corp overseas that is the one luxury item I had to send her regularly. Please bring it back. We are lost without it.

Does anyone who can get this product back on the market read these posts? I LOVED Hennalucent Sunset Glo. I traveled to about 15 different Sally's stores and begged to purchase the stock they were shipping out to their beauty schools. They used up the remaining supply on women who, even if they liked it, would never be able to purchase it.
