I mix the cobalt and twisted teal and it works great. I have noticed that u have to prelighten the hair within a couple of days otherwise it will not stick. Other than that I love the way it lasts in my hair which is hard to color and not fade in two days. Manic Panic in my dark brown hair lasted less than a week and was not very vibrant.

Doesn't look anything like the color in the bottle. Even after I bleached my medium brown hair it turned out as a navy blue with a greenish tint that almost looked black. Also, its impossible to get out of your skin if you make a mess. Don't waste your money on this and BE CAREFUL.

I just tried the Twisted Teal to accent the ends of hair dyed with Manic Panic's Electric Amethyst so I have a decent side-by-side comparison. The teal came through quickly and true to color. My hair at that length was bleached from natural black to a medium yellow. The Manic Panic could not eclipse that tone in the purple so I applied the teal to improve the muddiness and am pleased with the result. The teal looks good even on hair not completely lightened and came out just a hair darker than the true teal laquer on my nails. Obviously many users are having difficulty with the Cobalt Blue, so I'd guess that like artists' paints, sometimes certain pigments in the cheaper range still perform well while others are very poor. For the novice, stick to the shades that have a good rating, use the pure dye and bleach seperate not the all-in-one, and if in doubt, stick with Manic Panic. Not every shade is going to have no equal elsewhere, but it's vegan formula is easy on your hair and can always be removed with bleach if you hate it. Hope that helps!

S two days ago i put the the purple plum color on to my very very dark brown and bleached sections of my hair, i used tin foil and let the dye set for 2hrs then for 20mins i heated my hair with the blowdryer on warm. After rinsing the dye out with cold water my hair that was bleached looked like an extremely dark indigo and my brown hair had looked darker with indigo high lites. It ended up really cool looking and vibrant, the only con is staining, gloves, old towels, and bleach are a must, other then that it seems like a pretty good dye.

Well, before you go thinking I hated this product, stop; I liked it at the time (I used neon red) but when I got tired of it and wanted to go blonde again, it was IMPOSSIBLE to remove because of the metallic salts in the dye. I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT to anyone who is indecisive about their color.
Believe me, I'm regretting it!

This is the first time I've tried this line. I like it, and I'm using the blue. I used it to cover my highlights from summer, in my dark brown hair. The blue stuck but I did it twice and the second time it really popped. The hair chick at Sally's said to put it on, leave it on for hours, rinse with vinegar and cold water. The second time I did that and added heat to set it in. Also, afterwards I used a glossy topcoat I bought too in another line, she suggested, to make the color last longer. Basically it's like Saran wrap over your color to help with fading. We will see how long it lasts. Now it doesn't show up much over non-bleached hair.

i mix 'Cobalt Blue' with my favorite super hydrating conditioner brand and it's the best anit-br****- blue conditioner! Lasts a very long time(as u only add a little) and u get to use the conditioner that works best for u rather than non-hydrating violet/blue conditioners on the market, which means a lot if u have dry hair!

This stuff is amazing! It's the only funky color brand i'll use. Right now I have twisted teal, and it works perfectly.
But for those of you who seem to have a problem with the color sticking, I highly suggest dyeing your hair right before you go to bed and then sleep with it in your hair and wash it out in the morning. (Make sure you put a dark colored towel over your pillows XD)
You don't need to worry about damaging your hair because this stuff isn't permanent. You can even dye it how ever much you want, I dye mine with N'Rage every week like clockwork and my hair is very healthy. :)
I'm going to try the purple one next. I very highly suggest this brand. If you look at the bottle, it's actually DEMI-permanent, not SEMI-permanent like Manic Panic and other brands.. I don't see why Manic Panic gets such rave reviews. N'Rage is better in just about every single way. haha. Oh and not to mention, each color smells AMAZING!!!!! No chemical smells or anything, I know for sure the Teal and Pink smell like bubblegum, and if I can remember correctly, the red smelled like cherry!:)

I bought the bubble gum pink. I put it on over recently lightened hair (ion brand lightner)the N'Rage says to leave color on for 15min but I kept it on for a really long time(about 4hrs to be exact). It smells so good, bubble gum who woulda thought! But more importantly it is awesome!! Super bright hot pink! I think the key is to bleach and/or lighten as much as possible and then leave the color on as long as you can.
