» Hair Color Correction
You've taken the plunge and gone with a permanent color or a strong semipermanent, but it's just not what you pictured. If you had it done at a salon, any good professional will be happy to adjust it if you're not completely satisfied. (Of course, you might want to think twice about returning to a person who botched the job in the first place.)

If you just can't live with it at all, a colorist can use a color remover to lighten your hair, but you run the risk of further damage and a brassy look and you'll probably have to dye it yet again. (There are color removers available in drugstores, but this process is best left to the pros.) If you've used a gentle semipermanent color, most of it will eventually wash out -- just keep shampooing. In any event, time and a haircut may be your best bets.

I'm medium-dark skin with rich aurburn hair and brown eyes; I'm starting to think my new permanent hair color is too light or maybe I'm just not use to it. Can I put a semi-permanent haircolor to give my hair a more richer look. I like the new color, then at times I don't, especialy in the sun.

I have always had light brown hair but i'm always looking for something different. i recently put two blonde streaks on the sides of my hair, one small and one bigger. I really love the blonde and I want blond hair, but I'm not sure if i would look good with blonde hair since i am a brunette.

i coloured a ladies hair that was natural based 5, with a few grey hairs in front, the colour was 5.5 as she wanted red tones plus high lights, the total result was fantastic except where the grey was it turned out very red, to correct this can you tell me what i need to add, my instinct is to add base 5 to tone down thankyou

HELP! I've just put a Garnier Nutrisse on my hair, bought here where I live in Spain, colour 7.40, which on the box looks exactly like my hair colour (golden blonde) and I wanted to hide the few grey hairs I have, but it's gone vivid orange. What can I do? If you email me back I can send you 'before and after' photos.

I am a Black Female, I went to get my hair colored blonde, the stylist who is also black made it too yellow looking. How can I make it not look so yellow. I don't want to go back to her.

I have naturally light brown hair but have had it darkest brown/black for about 3 years. Im now wanting to go back to a light golden brown. What would i need to do to get it to this colour? I realise it will take a few sessions and that i need to go to a professional but would i need to strip the colour and then foils? or just foils?

I would highly recommend getting your hair corrected by a pro, especially if you are going lighter. I've seen what the at-home kits can do. Your hair will be fried AND blorange. It can be expensive, but worth every penny.
